  • Completely optional. If you don't want to quote, just ignore the email or reply STOP.

Why the email address looks a little different

The reply-to address on the email ends in @mail.owillow.com instead of Gmail or Yahoo.

That's just the relay — it keeps the homeowner's inbox from drowning when 30+ contractors reply at once. Your reply still lands with them. They still read it. They still reply to you.

Think of it like the forwarding address Airbnb gives a host when a guest books — real messages from a real person, just routed through the platform so nothing gets lost.

Common questions

Is this a real lead or am I competing against dozens of people?
It's a real job. You're one of a handful of contractors the homeowner is hearing back from, and they see your reply the same way they'd see any email. You aren't ranked, scored, or bid against on a clock. Whoever gives the clearest answer usually gets the job.
Am I being charged for this?
No. You don't pay for the lead, for the reply, or for the work. If you win the job, you bill the homeowner directly. owillow is paid by the homeowner, not you.
Can I call or text the homeowner directly?
You can ask the homeowner for their phone number if you need one — they'll share it if it makes sense for the job. We don't include their personal number in the first email because it tends to get buried under 30 other contractors calling at once, which isn't useful to anyone. Email first, then move to phone if the job needs it.
What if I don't want to get emails from owillow?
Reply with the word STOP or unsubscribe and we'll flag your business so you don't get contacted through us again. No questions asked.
How did you get my email address?
Your business is publicly listed on Google — we found you the same way a homeowner would, by searching for contractors in their area. We only contact businesses that list themselves as offering the trade the homeowner needs.
I got the email but I don't do that kind of work.
Sorry about the noise — that means we misclassified your business. Reply to the email telling us the trades you actually do and we'll update your listing so this doesn't happen again.
